JT the Bigga Figga
Joseph David Thompson, known as JT the Bigga Figga, was born on November 8,
1973, in San Francisco, California. He founded Get Low Recordz in 1991 and
released his debut album Don't Stop til We Major the next year. In 1993, he
released Playaz N the Game, featuring the single "Game Recognize Game" that
gained significant airplay. This success led to a contract with Priority Records
in 1994. Thompson is credited with discovering The Game, who released his first
album through Get Low Recordz before signing with Dr. Dre's Aftermath
Entertainment.
