Ralph Jordon Croucher, known professionally as JRDN, was born on November 14,
1978, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He began his music career by competing in
Canadian Idol, which provided him with television exposure and opportunities to
perform with Canadian talent. In 2007, he released the independent album No
Dress Code under the production of Classified, featuring singles like "Selfish
Times" and "Feelin’ Fine." The album earned him the CBC Galaxie Rising Star
