Joy
Joy, an Austrian dance-pop band, formed in 1984 in Bad Aussee. The group
consisted of Andy Schweitzer, Freddy Jaklitsch, and Manfred Temmel, landing a
record deal with OK-Musica. Their breakthrough single "Touch by Touch" topped
the charts in Austria and Germany. The debut album Hello achieved international
success, selling in over 30 countries. Joy performed extensively behind the Iron
Curtain and in Asia, where "Japanese Girls" became popular. In 1986, they were
