José Enrique Gaviria Escobar, born in Bogotá on July 25, 1970, is a Colombian
artist, producer, singer, and songwriter known for his work in MIDI music. He
launched his solo albums Camaleón in 1995 and Mundo Nuevo in 1996. In 2010 he
issued the album Retomando, and he collaborated with artists such as Fanny Lu
and Jon Secada. Gaviria earned a Latin Grammy in 2013 for production work with
Andrés Cepeda, and his 2016 project Mujeres Por Colombia Vol. 2 received a Latin
Grammy nomination.
