Jonathon Boogie Long, born on September 15, 1988 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is
an American blues guitarist who began playing guitar at six, receiving his first
instrument from his father at eight. He debuted with the EP The Pete Anderson
Sessions in 2011, featuring original tracks such as "Bad Karma". Long’s first
full‑length album, Jonathon Boogie Long & the Blues Revolution, was
self‑released in 2013, followed by Trying to Get There in 2016 and Parables of a
Southern Man in 2021 on Wild Heart Records, both reaching the Billboard Top
