Jonathan Stevens Jackson, born on May 11, 1982, in Orlando, Florida, is an
American musician and actor. He began his musical journey by taking guitar
lessons as a child and teaching himself to play the piano. In 2012, he got the
role of singer-songwriter Avery Barkley in the television series Nashville,
where he sang and played the guitar himself. Jackson released his debut album
Radio Cinematic in 2014, followed by the EP Blame-shifter in 2016. His later
releases include Anthems for the Apocalypse, released in 2017.
