Johnny Rivera
Johnny Rivera, born on February 4, 1962, in the Bronx, New York, is an American
salsa singer of Puerto Rican descent. He attended Benjamin Franklin High School
and briefly moved to Puerto Rico before returning to New York City to pursue a
music career. His first album, Y Ahora de Verdad, was released in 1991. His
breakthrough came with the release of the song "Se Parecia Tanto a Ti" in 1995,
which reached Number 1 on the Billboard Latin Tropical chart. He scored fifteen
hit singles and was nominated for Tropical New Artist of the Year at the 1994 Lo
