John Waters
John Samuel Waters Jr., known as John Waters, was born on April 22, 1946, in
Baltimore, Maryland. He is an American filmmaker, actor, comedian and writer. At
age 16, his grandmother gifted him a camera, sparking his interest in
filmmaking. John Waters dropped out of New York University due to boredom with
