Johanna Grüssner, born on November 14, 1972, in Åland, Finland, is a jazz
singer. She studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating in 1996,
and earned a master's degree in jazz singing at the Manhattan School of Music in
1998. Grüssner released her solo debut album Live at Hubbard Hall in 1998. In
2003, she collaborated with Mika Pohjola on the album Moomin Voices, featuring
original songs from the Moomin books. Her subsequent albums include No More
Blues (2004), Nu blir sommar (2006) and Lazy Afternoon (2006). Grüssner formed
