Joemy Wilson is a hammered dulcimer player from New Haven, Connecticut. She
began her musical journey with piano and violin, later taking voice lessons
during high school. While attending Barnard College, she started playing
Appalachian dulcimer and transitioned to the hammered dulcimer in 1979. Wilson's
career took off with several recordings on the Dargason label, including
Carolan's Cup (Music of Turlough O'Carolan on the Hammered Dulcimer) (1984) and
Gifts (Traditional Christmas Carols) (1985). She is particularly noted for her
