Joe Reisman
Joe Reisman was an American musician, bandleader, arranger, and record producer
born as Joseph Reisman on 16 September 1924 in Dallas, Texas. He was educated at
Baylor University and the University of Texas at El Paso. He began his recording
career as a saxophonist and clarinetist in the ensembles of Glen Gray, Louis
Prima, Bob Crosby, Sam Donahue, Frankie Masters, and Jack Teagarden. As an
arranger, he worked for Ray Bauduc and Gene Williams. In the late 1940s, he
shifted his focus to studio work as an arranger and producer for artists
