Joe Ferry
Joe Ferry is an American record producer, author, bassist, guitarist, and
educator. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Long Island University and
an MFA from SUNY Purchase, where he served as an emeritus professor. His solo
and leader releases include Skallelujah, while his work with Big Ska Band
includes Bootleg. In 2013, he founded Joe Ferry LLC and published his debut
novel, Connected: Mob Stories From My Past, accompanied by a soundtrack CD. His
production credits include work for The Skatalites, Dr. John, and Huey Lewis and
