Joe Asselin, an American Chicago blues and electric blues guitarist,
harmonicist, and songwriter, was born in 1977 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He
became a central figure in the Champaign, Illinois music scene after moving
there in 1998 to join the Kilborn Alley Blues Band,. Asselin contributed
songwriting and harmonica to the group’s Blues Music Award-nominated albums Put
It in the Alley (2006) and Tear Chicago Down (2007). After a brief hiatus
