Jochen Rückert
Jochen Rückert, born on May 13, 1975 in Cologne, Germany, is a German-American
drummer and composer who began playing drums at age six. He won the Blue Note
Jazzsearch with the trio Dreiklang in 1996 and released his debut album
Introduction in 1998. Rückert notably received the North Rhine-Westphalian Award
for Music in 2000. In 2011, he released his first album with original
compositions, Somewhere, Meeting Nobody. He also began leading his own quartet
