Joanne Hogg is a Northern Irish singer and songwriter. Raised in a family of
medical missionaries, Hogg studied medicine at Queen's University Belfast and
worked as a junior doctor before shifting focus to music. In 1989, Hogg
co-founded the Celtic Christian progressive rock band Iona. Solo work includes
the debut album Looking into Light (1999), followed by Raphael's Journey (2008),
Personal (2008), and Uncountable Stars (2014). Hogg provided vocals for video
game soundtracks composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, including “Small Two of Pieces”
