Joan Masdéu
Joan Masdéu, born 30 September 1974 in Reus, Catalonia, is a Spanish composer,
singer, guitarist and actor whose career began with the local group Terrat 26
before joining the band Whiskyn's, where he served as frontman for 17 years from
1992 to 2009. The group released a series of studio albums, including Whisky'ns
cullons (1994), Toc al dos (1996), Lila (1997), De la nit al dia (1999), Lluny
(2001), On (2004), Souvenirs (2005), and Reus–París–Londres (2007). After the
band’s dissolution, Masdéu launched a solo career, issuing the album Casa Murada
