Real name Johannes Pietsch, Austrian singer JJ is best known for winning the
Eurovision Song Contest in 2025 with his song "Wasted Love". Born in Vienna on
April 29, 2001, he grew up in Dubai, before his family returned to Austria in
2016. A contestant on The Voice UK in 2020, he didn't make it to the finals and
then entered the Austrian competition Starmania, before going on to study
singing at the University of Vienna. With a soprano voice before his moult, JJ
was chosen by the ÖRF to represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest with
