JFDR
Jófríður Ákadóttir, known professionally as JFDR, was born on August 4, 1994, in
Iceland and is a singer. She began her musical journey at the age of 14 with the
formation of Pascal Pinon, releasing their self-produced debut album Pascal
Pinon in 2009. In 2011, she formed Samaris, which won the Icelandic
Músíktilraunir competition and released several EPs and albums including
Silkidrangar (2014) and Black Lights (2016). JFDR's solo career commenced with
