Born in Marcory, a district of Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire, Jeune Lion is a
Franco-Ivorian rapper of German origin. He grew up listening to reggae and
dancehall, which had a profound influence on his inspiration, referencing
Rastafari lyrics. Equipped with other African musical influences, he launched
into rap, appearing on platforms in 2021 with the track "J U D A", prior to the
release of his debut album, Before Babylone Burnt (2022). A predominantly
