Jessica Pavone is a viola player and composer based in the United States of
America, and known for her work in avant-garde jazz and improvisational music.
She studied at the Hartt School of Music before moving to New York City in 2000,
where she became active in the local music scene. Pavone also collaborated
extensively with avant-jazz guitarist Mary Halvorson, releasing collaborative
