Jerry Corbetta
Gerald Anthony James Corbetta, born 23 September 1947 in Denver, Colorado, was
an American singer-songwriter, keyboardist, and record producer best known as
the frontman for the rock band Sugarloaf. In 1968, Corbetta co-founded the band
Chocolate Hair, which renamed itself Sugarloaf upon signing to Liberty Records.
He co-wrote and performed Sugarloaf's hit single "Green-Eyed Lady", which
reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1970, while their self-titled debut
album Sugarloaf reached number 24 on the Billboard 200. Corbetta also co-wrote
