Jens Book-Jenssen, was born on November 14, 1910, in Bærum, Norway, was a
Norwegian singer. He made his stage debut at Det Nye Teater in Oslo in 1933 and
started recording the same year. Book-Jenssen produced approximately 400
recordings between 1934 and 1945, including hits like "Når lysene tennes der
hjemme" and "En liten gyllen ring". He toured extensively across Norway from the
mid-1930s to 1973. Post-World War II, he directed the revue theater Chat Noir in
Oslo. Notable post-war recordings include "Gudskjelovkvelden" (1949) and "Når
kastanjene blomstrer i Bygdø Allé" (1950)....
