Jencarlos
Jencarlos Canela, born on 21 April 1988 in Miami, Florida, is an American singer
of Cuban descent who began performing at age twelve with the group
Boom Boom Pop. He released his first solo single in 2002 and gained prominence
in 2004 during the Miss World pageant, where his performance attracted industry
attention. In 2009, he signed an exclusive contract with Telemundo and launched
his debut album Búscame that year; the album peaked at number 2 on the Billboard
Latin Albums chart and at number 91 on the Billboard 200, while the single "Amor
