Jefferson
Geoffrey Turton is a British singer born on March 11, 1944 in Birmingham,
England. He began his music career as the falsetto lead singer and rhythm
guitarist of The Rockin' Berries in 1961, achieving hits across the United
Kingdom and Europe. After the group broke up in 1968, Turton launched a solo
career, releasing the single “Don't You Believe It” (1968) on Piccadilly
Records. Following its failure to chart, producer John Schroeder suggested he
