Bourtayre has also penned many other songs since the yé-yé period. Born in Paris
on January 31, 1942, he is the son of composer Henri Bourtayre, author of over a
thousand songs, notably for Tino Rossi, Maurice Chevalier and Luis Mariano, as
well as film and operetta scores. So it was only natural that he should follow
