Jean-Philippe Fanfant, born on July 27, 1966 in Paris, France, is a drummer from
Guadeloupe. He hails from a family of musicians spanning three generations; his
father Guy Fanfant was a singer and grandfather Roger Fanfant was a jazz
musician. Jean-Philippe's career began with a world tour alongside Angélique
Kidjo. He then accompanied prominent French artists such as Michel Fugain,
Julien Clerc, Maxime le Forestier, and Richard Gotainer. In the early 2000s, he
joined Olivier Schultheis' orchestra for Nouvelle Star on M6, followed by roles
