Jean-Louis Matinier is a French musician and accordionist born in 1963 in
Nevers, France. Matinier studied classical music before turning to jazz and
other forms of improvised music. From 1989 to 1991, Matinier played with the
Orchestre National de Jazz under Claude Barthélémy. Matinier collaborated with
Michael Riessler in Germany and started working with Juliette Greco in 1999.
Matinier collaborated with Louis Sclavis, Gianluigi Trovesi, Michel Godard,
François Couturier, Philippe Caillat, Marco Ambrosini, and Anouar Brahem.
