Jean Jacques Smoothie
Jean Jacques Smoothie, born Steve Robson in Gloucester, England is a British DJ
and producer. In 1994, Robson moved to Cardiff, Wales to pursue a degree in
broadcasting, where he began his DJ career after buying his first decks
following the breakup with his girlfriend. He quickly progressed from playing at
student nightclubs to releasing his debut single, "The Magnificent", under his
own record label, Plastic Raygun, which he co-founded with friends. Robson's
next release, "Nite Time" in 1997, prompted him to adopt the stage name Jean
Jacques Smoothie due to its French house inf...
