Jay Gruska, born April 23, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, is a songwriter and
composer known for his work in film and television scoring. He began his career
as a singer/songwriter and was briefly a member of Three Dog Night in 1976. Jay
Gruska co-wrote hit songs such as "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Too Good to Be
True)" (1984) for Jermaine Jackson and Michael Jackson, and Amy Grant's "Good
for Me" (1992). He composed musical scores for TV dramas including Lois & Clark:
The New Adventures of Superman, Charmed, and Supernatural. Jay Gruska has also
