Jason Upton, born January 12, 1973, in Lafayette, Indiana, is an American
Christian musician known for his work as a singer-songwriter. Adopted at three
months old by a Christian family, Upton began his musical journey singing and
playing music in churches. In 2000, he released his debut album Key of David,
recorded live in Virginia Beach. The following year, he launched Faith through
40 Records, which included the spontaneous track "Faith". Upton continued to
release albums such as Jacob's Dream and Dying Star in 2002, collaborating with
other artists on projects like Your Love ...
