Janne Lucas, born Jan Lars Persson on October 3, 1947, in Gothenburg, Sweden, is
a Swedish singer and pianist. As a teenager, he formed the pop group Lucas,
which gained prominence after winning Sveriges Radio's Pop Band Competition in
1967 with their song "Antisocial Season". The band's breakthrough came later
that year with a cover of "Go Now", originally recorded by Bessie Banks, which
peaked at number 4 on Tio i Topp. Lucas toured extensively throughout
