Jana
Jana Mashonee, known professionally as Jana, is a singer and songwriter from the
Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. After graduating from Davidson College, she
signed her first record deal with Curb Records. Her breakthrough came with the
single "Ooh, Baby, Baby" (1999), which was named Billboard’s Single of the Week.
Jana's subsequent releases included "More Than Life", which sold over a million
copies, and a cover of Led Zeppelin’s "Stairway to Heaven" that topped the
