Jan Verwey
Jan Verwey, a Dutch modern jazz harmonica player born on February 24, 1936, in
Vlissingen, began his musical journey by teaching himself to play the harmonica
at a young age. His breakthrough came with the release of Watch What Happens in
1976, marking his debut album under his own name. Throughout his career, Verwey
collaborated with notable artists such as Louis Andriessen and Denise Jannah,
