Jan Josef Liefers, born on August 8, 1964, in Dresden, Germany, is a German
actor and singer. He comes from a theatrical family, with his father Karlheinz
Liefers being a director and his mother Brigitte Liefers-Wähner an actress.
Liefers' early career began at the Studententheater Die Bühne of the Technical
University Dresden, followed by engagements at the Deutsche Theater Berlin and
Thalia Theater in Hamburg. Liefers' music career started with the release of his
