James Maddock

James Maddock, born 1962 in Leicester, England, is singer‑songwriter and performing musician. He began his recording career with the 1982 album Tied Weight on Reach Up Records. After early work with the band Fire Next Time, which released the 1988 album North to South on Polydor, Maddock moved to New York City in 2003 and formed the band Wood, whose 1999 album Songs from Stamford Hill produced the TV‑featured track "Stay You".
