James Louis Chirillo, born May 2, 1953, in Waltham, Massachusetts, is an
American jazz guitarist, banjoist, composer, arranger, and band leader. In 1976,
as a member of the One O'Clock Lab Band, Chirillo toured extensively, including
performances in the Soviet Union, Portugal, and England. From 1985 to 1986, he
was a member of Benny Goodman's last band, and from 1987 to 1991, he was part of
