James Cherry
James Andrew Antcliff, professionally known as James Cherry, born April 8, 1993,
in Leicester, England, is an English soul and R&B singer. He first attracted
attention in 2015 with the release of his self-issued debut EP Blame It on Our
Youth, which featured the single “Cry Myself to Sleep”. The track was named
Track of the Day by Clash magazine and received airplay on BBC Radio 1.
Following the release, Cherry focused on honing his craft and building a local
fanbase through live performances.
