Jam & Spoon is a German electronic duo founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1991. It consists of Rolf Ellmer (alias Jam El Mar) and Markus Löffel (alias Mark Spoon), often accompanied by the singer Plavka Lonich. Rolf Ellmer was born on December 3, 1960 in Karlsruhe; Markus Löffel was born on November 27, 1966 in Frankfurt and died on January 11, 2006 in Berlin. Stylistically, they are characterized by a mixture of trance, Eurodance, house and ambient.
