Jacqueline Maureen Graham, known professionally as Jaki Graham, was born on 15 September 1956 in Birmingham, England. She is a British singer-songwriter of Jamaican descent. In 1983, a session recording for jazz funk band Medium Wave Band led to a deal with EMI Records and the release of her first two solo singles: "Heaven Knows" and "Once More with the Feeling". Her breakthrough came in early 1985 with the duet "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love" featuring David Grant, which reached number 5 on the UK charts.
