Jaime Davalos

Jaime Dávalos was an Argentine musician, writer, and poet born on January 29, 1921, in Salta, Argentina. He traveled extensively across his country, immersing himself in local culture and traditions, which he transformed into poetry, songs, and stories. Dávalos' compositions, such as "Canción del jangadero" and "Zamba de los mineros", were celebrated for their poetic depth and were compiled in releases like Canciones de Jaime Dávalos (1962). He also appeared in the film Argentinísima II (1973) as an interpreter. Dávalos passed away on December 3, 1981, in Buenos Aires.
