Jack Semple
Jack Semple, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1957, is a Canadian blues
singer and guitarist. Raised on a farm north of Regina, he taught himself guitar
as a youth before performing with local bands. In the late 1980s, he relocated
to Toronto to serve as lead guitarist for the funk and R&B band The Lincolns for
two years before returning to Saskatchewan to pursue a solo career. Semple won
the MuchMusic Guitar Wars competition in 1992, and starred in the title role of
