Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, known professionally as Iyanya, was born on October 31,
1986, in Calabar, Nigeria. He is an Afropop singer who began his musical journey
by singing in church and performing at local bars. His breakthrough came in 2008
when he won the first season of Project Fame West Africa. Following this
victory, Iyanya released his debut album, My Story, in 2010. In 2011, he
co-founded the record label Made Men Music Group with Ubi Franklin and released
his second album, Desire, which included the hit single "Kukere" in 2013. He won
