Iver Kleive is a Norwegian composer and organist born on 25 May 1949. He studied
church music and organ at the Norwegian Academy of Music and served as an
organist at Frogner Church and Røyken Church. He achieved professional
recognition for a style that fuses traditional church music with jazz, blues,
and folk. He was appointed musical director of Helgerud Church in 1987 and
founded the Oslo Bach Choir in 1988. His recording career includes the studio
recordings Max Reger – Alle Menschen müssen sterben (1993), Kyrie (1994), and
