Iskandar Widjaja, born 6 June 1986 in West Berlin, is a German violinist who
began playing the violin at age four. He entered the Hanns Eisler School of
Music in Berlin at eleven, studying under Werner Scholz and Joachim Hantzschk,
later moving to the Julius Stern Institute of the Berlin University of the Arts,
where he trained with Uwe‑Martin Haiberg and Ilan Gronich. Widjaja’s first major
recording, Bach ’n’ Blues, was released in 2011 under OehmsClassics, followed by
