María Isabel Pantoja Martín, known as Isabel Pantoja, was born on August 2, 1956, in Sevilla, Spain. She is a Spanish singer who began her career in the early 1970s. Her self-titled debut album was released in 1974. In 1983, Pantoja released her first pop album, Cambiar por ti, which included hits like "En la niebla" and "Pasó tu tiempo". She gained international fame with the 1985 album Marinero de luces, a tribute to her late husband Francisco Rivera. The album sold over 1,280,000 copies in Spain alone.
