Institute
Institute was an American alternative rock band formed in 2004, featuring former
Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. The group was formed following internal issues
within Bush and included Chris Traynor on guitar, Cache Tolman on bass, and Josh
Freese on drums, who was later replaced by Charlie Walker. Institute signed with
Interscope Records and released their debut album Distort Yourself in September
2005, which debuted at number 81 on the US Billboard Charts. The lead single
"Bullet-Proof Skin" reached the top 30 of the Alternative Airplay and Mainstream
