Ingolf Bischof was born on January 2, 1951, in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany. He
began his musical journey with classical piano lessons from the age of eight to
fourteen. In 1966, he formed his first band, Marvin Kemper and the Soul-Group,
followed by The Modivations in 1969. Bischof's breakthrough came when he
co-founded the German rock band Karthago in 1971. He later joined Kraan in 1975,
becoming a key member until 2007. Throughout his career, Bischof collaborated
