Impacto Mc
Impacto MC was formed in Chiapas, Mexico, in 1999 by vocalists Víctor Ernesto
Vásquez and David Ricardo Álvarez Bonilla. After beginning with cover versions,
the duo developed a hybrid of reggae, rap, electronic music, and Latin rhythms,
introducing original songs such as “El Trenecito,” “Golosa,” and “Chiapas
Complot.” Impacto MC signed with Musart and released its debut album, Golosa, in
2003. The record established the group’s playful, dance-oriented sound through
