Imarhan
Imarhan, a Tuareg rock band from Tamanrasset, Algeria, formed in 2006. The
group's name translates to "those who love and are sincere." Imarhan released
their debut single "Tahabort" in June 2015, marking the beginning of their
musical journey. Their self-titled debut album was produced by City Slang and
released in 2016, earning them recognition as a significant new voice in Tuareg
music. The band's second album, Temet, followed in 2018, further solidifying
their presence in the genre. In 2022, Imarhan released their third studio album,
Aboogi, followed in 2026 by Essam.
