Imanol Larzabal Goñi, born on November 11, 1947 and known as Imanol, was a
Basque singer-songwriter from San Sebastián, Spain, known for performing in both
Basque and Spanish. He began singing in Basque in 1964 and released his first
record under the pseudonym Mikel Etxegaray. During the Franco dictatorship, he
went into exile in France, where he continued his musical career and
